Having been through the experience of working out a system to be able to sell hard copy on line, it seems I need to re-evaluate the postage and packaging.
I wondered how people feel about first class v second class. Whether people would rather pay less and wait a bit or whether people preferred to get the
music asap. At the moment to send to Europe costs £1.21 plus packaging plus the cost of someone doing it for me which works out about £1 per CD. I might be able to reduce
that at some stage but until we have more volume it will prove tricky.
I'm thinking of adjusting the P & P to be £2 for the Uk, £2.50 for Europe and £3 for the Rest of the World inc the US, Japan, Austrailia, etc. This is comparable to other sites
like mine (but not, of course, to Amazon, etc) but this is First Class postage. If people are happy to wait a bit then I can send everything 2nd class and reduce costs a bit.
Let me know what you think. I need to make changes to the web-site by next month as I will be selling my Drum CD and my Demo CD before the end of it, and possibly Watertight before
the end of the next month.
